She ordered an orange cake for her mother's birthday and makan2 treat for her family. I've decided to give her this one and hoped that everyone enjoyed eating the cake. Glad that you like the design! I was totally out of idea when I wanted to decorate this cake! Somehow the orange slices at the corners look like butterflies, but without the tentacles! right?

This was an order from my junior at the U. He invited me to his children's birthday party, but I couldn't make it but at the same time, I offered him a birthday cake. Not for free, but for him to order...hehehe...

Though a very short notice was given, I was able to complete it and sent it to his house at 10pm! huhuu...just few hours before my long trip.

Anyway, here's the barney cake for his kids. I used different color for the ribbons this time and I think it looks more outstanding, vibrant and gorgeous! Hope the kids like it!

Welcome home Bro...Goodbye Sis..

Tonite was the moment when everyone was around! But, not for long...It was a celebration for my sis in law's returned from Aussie and also a farewell for my sister who's going back to Dubai. My brother is back shortly, accompanying his wife and kids and will go back to Aussie next year! So, my Mom requested me to bake a cake for the ocassion! It was also to celebrate the birthdays of the December babies...that includes me! hehehe

I really had no idea of what cake to bake! Too much baking other people's and can't think of my own! Anyway, my sister said ok to chocolate oreo. So, I baked the cake. When it was time to decorate..again I was blank! But then I decided to use chocolate ganache, instead of buttercream icing. It was at the very last minute that I iced the cake...I had headache and couldn't even get up! So, makan ubat...tido..and felt relieved!

So, here's how the cake looked like...the kids were so excited & can't wait to cut it and eat it when they saw it! hehehe...

They're chocolate oreo and iced with buttercream icing. A sweet combination of pink & purple...1 set is booked and left with another set on sale! While stocks last...hurry..hurry!

Red & White!

This is my first order with a specific color theme! Thanks to Mai for that! It was easy for me to at least design the cupcakes! Although these cupcakes were ordered the very last minute, like last nite and she wanted them this morning, I managed to complete them before time! But, so sorry..no more last minute order people! I could hardly breathe this morning! hahaha...

Anyway, I love the color combination..red & white. The pure red color was kinda hard to get!! I used almost half bottle of the color! huhuu..but, I think they look really red in pictures! So, that was the best I could do..hope your brothers & mama & nephew (celebrate 4 org skali nih) love them! thanks so much...

Mama Day ordered the cheesecake from me again...this time it's for her 3rd son's birthday. Walaupun laki & 2 org anak teruna jauh di kampung..dia tetap nak makan kek jugak! hehehe...

Mama Day wanted some pictures on the cake..but errr..cheesecake with a picture and without being iced?? hehehe..anyway..I told her that I have a few..like ultraman (her kids' favorite too), superman, power rangers and etc (forgot that cartoon!).

So, ultraman was choosen...and this is how it looks like.....

Luscious choc marble cheesecake

This cake was requested by the cheese lover..Ms Haiza. She was given the honor to choose the cake flavor for the makan2 feast in the office! hehe...and apa lagi...marble cheese cake with choc ganache topping! A different taste this time...

So, here's the cake...I used oreo cookies as the base...and alhamdulillah..I received praises form those who ate the cake! thank you to all...

New ICCA at Kota Damansara!

The biggest & nearest ICCA is now opened! Yeay! I can now shop conveniently at the store! Very spacious, very nice! Though not in my housing area, but it's just less than 10km away!

I went there on the opening day and received a cupcake! Very nice..sayang nak makan...and the best thing...I got 10% discount on every single item! Yup...normally, only 5% being a member...so, apa lagi! borong sakan laaaa! and I even bought stuffs that I don't think I'm gonna use yet! hehehe

Congrats Effi!

Effi's my cousin..the moment I knew that he was getting engaged...I smsed my auntie and asked if she already has a cake for the hantara. Unfortunately..she said yes. So, I said ok..I told her probably I can make some cupcakes for makan2 on the engangement day!

But then, a week before the function..she called me again and wanted to discuss about the cake! I was excited! Yeay..another cake for a BIG day! Everything was described over the phone! The flowers..the colors, the cake..the design...and everything...

So, I said ok..and this is how the final cake looks like! It took me hours to make it though and I couldn't be more satisfied! Thanks to my Mak busu for the trust...and glad that you like it!

The ceremony was over and the cake still looks as it was in the picture! heh...btw..congrats Effi! Your bride to be is beautiful! Another wedding in the family next year! yeah!

It's Zamir's 7th Birthday today!

Zamir's long awaited day has finally arrived! He knows that his birthday falls on the 3rd and has been requesting for this and that...not only toys, but also his birthday cake! Sorry dear, I can't make a cake like your brother! Just didn't have the time!

Anyway, the final cake he asked for was a blueberry cake! I thought I heard him wrong because he's never eaten 1 as far as I remembered! But he said yes..a blueberry cake...with light blue icing and the power rangers edible image on top of it! He wanted the blue & yellow sugar stars around the cake too! Yup...this boy is sure is a fussy customer! hehehe

So, I baked the cake last nite and decorated it the way he wants it! He has not seen it yet..but I hope he will like it! Will bring the cake home to your nenek's house tonite to celebrate! tungguuuu....

p/s: left the camera at my mom's house, so can't take any pictures yet. Will do tonite and will edit this entry later...

Wedding cake for you?

Pink or yellow?? These cakes I made were not for sale. In fact, 1 of them is just a dummy! I made these during my wedding cake decorating class. What do u think???? Obviously the chef's cake was soo perfect! Wish mine was too! But I think my cakes turned out to be quite good though..being the first time decorating cakes like that! Anyway, I had a great time..met new 'kakaks' and it was good to learn something new! Thanks to the chef for the many many tipssss.

This gal came to me and asked me if i can make cupcakes for her 'merisik' ceremony. Nowadays, even merisik pun orang order cupcakes. But, bagusla..I can promote more... So, anyway, she gave me the design and I followed exactly as requested. Pink & purple roses...Obviously I didn't make the flowers myself! Due to time constraint...last minute notice....I had to search for the flowers! Luckily..I manage to get them all. So, to this gal...congrats! It'll be the engagement ceremony after this pulak...hehehe...Many many thanks for your order...I felt so relieved that you loved them so much! I think the cuppies are beautiful..just like you...:)

Aliya & Abg Zaidi's birthdays

It's good to have birthdays which are close to each other in a family. Jimat nak beli kek! So, these were made for Kak Roza's daughter & hubby. Sorry I can't make that 'masjid' dome as she suggested..hehehe..tak sampai hati pulak. I decorated more for a girl than a guy... but the 2 cars are made specifically for her son! Yesterday I went to my son's friend's kenduri doa selamat for berkhatan. One of his closest friend I would say. I decorated some cupcakes for him so that he can eat before 'disunatkan' hehehe...he loves football...so, made some football themed cuppies for him. Ni last minute punye...but turned out good gak!

Apart from Hana, I received Liniey's order for engagement like a month ago! At first I was reluctant to accept as I was afraid that I could not fulfil her request since I have the massive order from Hana. But then again, I accepted not because I had to, but it's more of a favor from a friend I would say... Anyway, thanks to dik Lenny for recommending my cupcakes!

Finally, the big day that I had been waiting for had come and now it's over! I finally completed the 500 pcs of cuppies for the door gift and 75 pcs of big cuppies for the nikah ceremony. Sounds massive isn't it?? Well...alhamdulillah and many many thanks to my HUBBY & MOM for helping me out! Can't do it without u guys... Bersengkang mata ..tak cukup tidur...makan pun tak sempat! hehehehe

In the making of the cakes, I received a sorrow news that my aunty has passed away...al-fatihah. She had some complications in her lungs and heart and was admitted to the ccu a week ago. I managed to visit her in the ccu but since I was busy preparing the cuppies, I didn't pay my last respect. Feeling guilty though, but a 'doa' from far worth more.

Anyway Hana, glad u love the cuppies! Thanks a million!! Unfortunately...I didn't get one on your wedding day! Dah habis ke tak nak kasi?? hehehe... Nanti boleh order lagi for your anniversaries & kids pulak.. :)

Happy Birthday to My Mom In Law!

It's almost end of the year...and more birthdays are coming up in the family! My M.I.L. turns 58 today! We had a simple celebration amongst family members...Every sibling with spouses & kids were present! I managed to bake 2 cakes for everyone! 1 is my well liked carrot cake. :) It was just a simple deco for the carrot cake...topped with cream cheese and sprinkled a bit of the orange sprinkles around the cake. The other 1 is my brother in law's favourite sandwich cake! He loves it soo much and I just don't know why...

It was a great celebration anyway, especially for the kids!
