It's Zamir's 7th Birthday today!

Zamir's long awaited day has finally arrived! He knows that his birthday falls on the 3rd and has been requesting for this and that...not only toys, but also his birthday cake! Sorry dear, I can't make a cake like your brother! Just didn't have the time!

Anyway, the final cake he asked for was a blueberry cake! I thought I heard him wrong because he's never eaten 1 as far as I remembered! But he said yes..a blueberry cake...with light blue icing and the power rangers edible image on top of it! He wanted the blue & yellow sugar stars around the cake too! Yup...this boy is sure is a fussy customer! hehehe

So, I baked the cake last nite and decorated it the way he wants it! He has not seen it yet..but I hope he will like it! Will bring the cake home to your nenek's house tonite to celebrate! tungguuuu....

p/s: left the camera at my mom's house, so can't take any pictures yet. Will do tonite and will edit this entry later...

Wedding cake for you?

Pink or yellow?? These cakes I made were not for sale. In fact, 1 of them is just a dummy! I made these during my wedding cake decorating class. What do u think???? Obviously the chef's cake was soo perfect! Wish mine was too! But I think my cakes turned out to be quite good though..being the first time decorating cakes like that! Anyway, I had a great time..met new 'kakaks' and it was good to learn something new! Thanks to the chef for the many many tipssss.

This gal came to me and asked me if i can make cupcakes for her 'merisik' ceremony. Nowadays, even merisik pun orang order cupcakes. But, bagusla..I can promote more... So, anyway, she gave me the design and I followed exactly as requested. Pink & purple roses...Obviously I didn't make the flowers myself! Due to time constraint...last minute notice....I had to search for the flowers! Luckily..I manage to get them all. So, to this gal...congrats! It'll be the engagement ceremony after this pulak...hehehe...Many many thanks for your order...I felt so relieved that you loved them so much! I think the cuppies are beautiful..just like you...:)

Aliya & Abg Zaidi's birthdays

It's good to have birthdays which are close to each other in a family. Jimat nak beli kek! So, these were made for Kak Roza's daughter & hubby. Sorry I can't make that 'masjid' dome as she suggested..hehehe..tak sampai hati pulak. I decorated more for a girl than a guy... but the 2 cars are made specifically for her son! Glad you like them...thanks again...

Yesterday I went to my son's friend's kenduri doa selamat for berkhatan. One of his closest friend I would say. I decorated some cupcakes for him so that he can eat before 'disunatkan' hehehe...he loves football...so, made some football themed cuppies for him. Ni last minute punye...but turned out good gak!

Liniey's Engagement..Congrats!

Apart from Hana, I received Liniey's order for engagement like a month ago! At first I was reluctant to accept as I was afraid that I could not fulfil her request since I have the massive order from Hana. But then again, I accepted not because I had to, but it's more of a favor from a friend I would say... Anyway, thanks to dik Lenny for recommending my cupcakes!

Finally, the big day that I had been waiting for had come and now it's over! I finally completed the 500 pcs of cuppies for the door gift and 75 pcs of big cuppies for the nikah ceremony. Sounds massive isn't it?? Well...alhamdulillah and many many thanks to my HUBBY & MOM for helping me out! Can't do it without u guys... Bersengkang mata ..tak cukup tidur...makan pun tak sempat! hehehehe

In the making of the cakes, I received a sorrow news that my aunty has passed away...al-fatihah. She had some complications in her lungs and heart and was admitted to the ccu a week ago. I managed to visit her in the ccu but since I was busy preparing the cuppies, I didn't pay my last respect. Feeling guilty though, but a 'doa' from far worth more.

Anyway Hana, glad u love the cuppies! Thanks a million!! Unfortunately...I didn't get one on your wedding day! Dah habis ke tak nak kasi?? hehehe... Nanti boleh order lagi for your anniversaries & kids pulak.. :)

Happy Birthday to My Mom In Law!

It's almost end of the year...and more birthdays are coming up in the family! My M.I.L. turns 58 today! We had a simple celebration amongst family members...Every sibling with spouses & kids were present! I managed to bake 2 cakes for everyone! 1 is my well liked carrot cake. :) It was just a simple deco for the carrot cake...topped with cream cheese and sprinkled a bit of the orange sprinkles around the cake. The other 1 is my brother in law's favourite sandwich cake! He loves it soo much and I just don't know why...

It was a great celebration anyway, especially for the kids!

Happy Besday Hubby!

My hubby loves durian so much that he wanted me to make a durian cake for him! Ok...everything was ready...the cake..the filling, but the durian cake became chocolate moist cake! hahaha...I had no time to layer the cake because my guests had arrived and the fastest thing to do was to ice the choc cake with the choc ganache! Sorry dear...i'll layer the durian cake soon yaa....

These cuppies were ordered together with the hantaran cuppies and these are just for makan2. So, the design was simple, but the color was outstanding! Carrot cake with buttercream icing..ok tak Dila?

These cuppies were made after a very last minute order by Dila! She wanted the gum paste roses but unfortunately I couldn't find any ready mades in the store as it was Hari Raya and probably people have bought them all! So, I had to make them and the ones I made was not completely dried! Anyway, the design is as per her request and I think they look gorgeous! I hope your SIL likes it very much! Marble Cheese cake

I made this cheesecake for Hari Raya and cut it into 2, 1 for my mom & 1 for my mom in law. This time, the cake turned out how it should be! I think! The marble effect menjadi & just 1 tiny line of crack! But, overall...i'm extremely happy with the results! However, this cake was baked usin my mom's oven...not sure how it would turn out using mine...will try soon..
